It’s in two days, and I’m not as excited as I should be. While the age I’m turning this year isn’t quite mine, I’m ready to embrace it regardless.
Mummy physio calls at exactly midnight on my birthday to shower me with prayers and sweet nothings as I also listen to the mismatched voices of Adebola, Professor, Bishop and Honorable (my siblings) in their glorious attempt at a happy birthday song.
Kindly reserve this hour for them and help me save your birthday wishes and calls till I’ve had my beauty sleep. I could take a few calls from 1 am as I will be reviewing scripts for work at 10 am.
Before you read further, I tried my hands on this app, it promised to help me curate the best birthday Wishlist you will ever see Adejumoke’s Wishlist

Are you still there?
Hmm, I realised earlier on that life is a journey of self-discovery, and every year brings me closer to that fulfilment. With every passing year as I learn more about myself, my goals and ambition change. Does this come with the age? cause this time, I no longer want to be the president of the world bank.
One of the most significant lessons I have learned is the importance of self-care. Prioritizing my mental and emotional health has allowed me to better handle life’s challenges and has led to an overall improvement in my well-being. I have also learned the value of perseverance and determination, even when faced with obstacles. These qualities have helped me to achieve things I never thought possible.

Another important lesson I have learned is the power of gratitude. By appreciating the little things in life and focusing on the present moment, I have been able to cultivate a more positive outlook on life.

Looking back at the past year and the journey ahead, there will always be some highs and lows, but I am confident in my ability to handle whatever comes my way. I am grateful for the love and support of everyone around me though impatient to see what this new year will bring.
Baby physio (in my daddy’s voice).
The kind of person I want to be hasn’t been clearly defined, its like a mirage but I know what it looks like.
I can taste it and if I close my eyes hard enough, I swear, I can see it (flights for breakfast in the Bahamas, a quick stop for gelato in Italy followed by a nice dinner overlooking the aurora borealis in Norway) and I’m trusting God to fund this journey.
Small Jummy Jaga of yesterday, It’s incredible to think about how far I’ve come and how much I’ve grown, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
Am I looking forward to this new chapter in my life with arms wide open? most definitely.

Wondering what the birthday girl will be doing?
I’ll be spending the better part of my day with the good people of Aboki Onskripted where I head the content team. Uncle Ultra will gift me a brand new MacBook Air M2 when we blow up our content. I have to get the numbers right😆 If you’re reading this, thank you for being a part of my journey. I appreciate your presence in my life, and I hope that we can continue to grow together in the coming years. I hope for good health and happiness for myself and those around me. I also wish for continued growth and success in my personal and professional life. Lastly, I hope to continue to explore and experience new things, travel to places I only see on TV and to eat cuisines I cannot pronounce.
I may have really expensive taste but this doesn’t mean you should not take a peek at my birthday Wishlist, I put so much effort into it and I promise, you will find something slightly above your budget you can gift me Adejumoke’s Wishlist
Here’s to another year of growth, adventure, and making unforgettable memories! Oh and lots of travels too as I’ll be leaving on Friday for a 3 days vacation to IITA with the good people of JoliJoni.
Talk about perfect timing😊
